We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-accountable Staff Accountant to join our US-based finance team on the East Coast. This role supports the operational and financial integrity of our nonprofit entity, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations and managing high-volume data reconciliation. You’ll work closely with operations, finance, and government affairs teams to support global donation flows and payout processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile high-volume donation data across multiple platforms (Meta, GoFundMe, etc.)
• Support monthly consolidation and payout tracking to charities via API integrations
• Ensure compliance with new California regulation 84844 and other nonprofit standards
• Collaborate with global finance teams (US and UK) and stakeholders in operations and government affairs
• Maintain nonprofit status and ensure donor contributions remain tax-deductible
• Assist with audit preparation and financial reporting
• Provide backup coverage for team members on sabbatical

Desired Skills & Experience

Compensation :

$20.00 / hr to $30.00 / hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
