About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Oncology Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (07 : 00 - 15 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : 5+ years in Med-surge nursing License : Valid permanent California RN License Certifications : BLS Certified Must-Have : - Valid permanent California RN license at the time of submission- A copy of COVID vaccination card- COVID-19 Vaccine and Current Booster required Job Description : Work in an outpatient cancer center specializing in oncology nursing- Possibility for temporary to permanent placement- Although procedural nursing is preferred, it is not required- First-time candidates are accepted- No weekend or on-call requirements- Expected to float within scope to meet facility needs as necessary- Scrub color is gray, provided by the client- Charting systems used include Epic- Orientation provided for 12 hours Additional Notes : Local candidates within a 50-minute commute are accepted- Pending licenses are not accepted- Return staff must have a minimum 1-year gap from any previous employment at the facility before applying for travel positions- Must provide two supervisor references from within the last year and all relevant certifications for submission Preferred Qualifications : Experience in procedural nursing- Chemo specialty experienceEnsure flexibility and willingness to adapt to various assignments and float locations if required.
