About the Job
You would interact with the Director of Precon in pursuing new work through collaboration with owners, design consultants, & colleagues on construction projects throughout conception, design & budget development with positive results.
You would be responsible for accurate quantity surveys, developing business relationships, romancing subs & vendors, and responding to RFPs.
You would also lead and mentor a team of managers. Ultimately, your work will help us develop new business opportunities.
About the Company

These contracts are Design-Build, GMAX, negotiated, & shortlist competitive bidding for Mix Use, Institution, Warehouse, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Health Care, & Multi-Residential projects.

Requirements
- Bachelors in Construction Science, Structural or Civil Engineering. Or equivalent technical training and experience combinations.
- Must have at least Ten years of demonstrated experience providing conceptual budgets to create GMAX proposals with minimum information & quickly develop an understanding of the Owner / Architect requirements.
- Have a polished, professional demeanor with the ability to communicate and present complex issues internally and externally to management, customers, subcontractors, and other third parties.
- Comfortable Interacting with project owners, design consultants, subcontractors, & other stakeholders in a Senior leadership role during the preconstruction phase.
- Experience in the subcontractor / supplier bidding strategy, process, evaluation of bids, presentation of detailed estimates of the work, evaluation of alternatives, & comparative studies.
