Position Summary

This position will assist customers with Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) equipment and supplies. The staff member will work in a knowledgeable and courteous manner with physicians, customers, employees, and management staff to provide the highest quality of products and services in accordance with all legal and company standards.

Position Responsibilities

• Conduct patient account setups by ensuring appropriate documentation is in place prior to service, along with dispensing appropriate respiratory equipment as prescribed by physician orders.
• Assist patients with proper mask fitting and adjustments as needed.
• Monitor patient compliance reports and interpret sleep studies to assist in education and proper treatment.
• Educate patients on specific treatments, proper use of equipment, cleaning of devices, and insurance requirements.
• Communicate with providers and patients regarding therapy changes or issues.
• Ensure thorough and detailed documentation.
• Use equipment to test PAP devices to ensure proper pressure is being administered.
• Efficiently handle all customer issues in a professional manner.
• Follow all legal and company standards, HIPAA, safety, and security.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
