ABOUT THE ROLE
- Manage all phases of commercial projects from start to end.
- Evaluate factors affecting construction projects to determine requirements for labor, materials, and equipment.
- Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.
- Prepare project bids with costs, timeline, expenses, labor force, and other specifications, including site evaluation reports, costs associated with disposal of waste, shipping, tools, and specialty material required.
- Evaluate subcontractor proposals and review and approve shop drawings.
- Prepare reports and present bids and cost specifications to clients and negotiate and incorporate terms into service contract agreements.
- Review and analyze complex specifications, including engineering plans, technical drawings, and blueprints.
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of Construction experience working as an Assistant Project Manager working for a US-based General Contractor.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
- Experience in building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Associate degree or a bachelor’s Degree (Ideally a construction or civil engineering degree)
