Are you passionate about supporting students and making a positive impact in their lives? Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) / Behavior Aide to join our team near Danbury, CT.
This full-time position offers the opportunity to work one-on-one with a Kindergarten student, providing essential support and implementing behavior programs under the supervision of a teacher and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Responsibilities :
- Provide one-on-one support to a Kindergarten student, implementing behavior intervention plans and instructional programs as directed by the teacher and BCBA.
- Assist in the implementation of behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors and social skills development.
- Collaborate closely with the teacher and BCBA to ensure consistency and effectiveness in implementing behavior support plans and instructional strategies.
- Collect data on student behavior and progress, assisting in the analysis and adjustment of intervention strategies as needed.
- Maintain professional communication with the educational team, parents, and stakeholders regarding student progress and goals.
Requirements :
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) required.
- Experience working with children in an educational or behavioral setting preferred.
- Strong understanding of behavior management principles and strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Commitment to following ethical guidelines and maintaining confidentiality.
Position Details :
- Hours : Full-time, 34.5 hours per week
- Duration : April 1, 2024, to June 14, 2024
- Shift : 8 : 35 am - 3 : 35 pm, Monday to Friday
- Assignment : 1 : 1 with a Kindergarten student, assigned to one campus
- Location : Danbury, CT
