About Our Client
Our client is a reputable Sacramento family-owned and operated general contractor. They specialize in commercial and public works construction throughout the Greater Sacramento area.
They are actively searching for a Assistant Project Manager to join their team long-term.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities of a Commercial Construction Assistant Project Manager
Exercise a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when dealing
with staff, projects and proprietary information.
Leads and is accountable for the work of Project Engineers in the
delivery of Design, Production, and Erection Field-related phases of
project deliveries, as well as General Project Management.
Initial activities pertaining to the Design Phase, including, but not limited
to submittal drawings, design approvals, reinforcement drawings, and
miscellaneous metal drawings.
Manufacturing-related activities pertaining to the Production Phase,
including, but not limited to providing complete shop drawings, ensuring
purchasing of all required materials, maintaining a casting schedule and
performing quality checks.

A Successful Commercial Construction Assistant Project Manager
Ability to build strong relationships and engage and motivate teams
representing diverse backgrounds and viewpoints; exceptionally
collaborative.
Excellent organization skills to drive topics with multiple
stakeholders / interests.
- Problem solving skills that aim to remedy and prevent reoccurrence.
- Comfortable escalating issues while maintaining positive relationships
with team members and other organizations
