Certification Details
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required, AHA ONLY.
- BLS - Basic Life Support required for all candidates, AHA ONLY.
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required, AHA ONLY.
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure required, Only AHA NRP is accepted.
- CHEMO - Chemotherapy certification-check for requirement.
- TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course-check for requirement.
- EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring-check for requirement.
Job Details
- Effective 11 / 30 / 24, IU Health will not allow IN RN's to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9 / 9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11 / 30).
- Periop / OR RN's, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11 / 30 deadline.
Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS.
Prescreening question : This is a CVPICU unit that is willing to take PICU RNs as long as they are comfortable with training CVPICU.

Schedule Information
- Shift Requirements : 3x12's or 4x12's, Every other weekend and 50% of Holidays.
- Will accept PICU RN and train on CVPICU.
Unit Specific Information
- This is a CVPICU unit that will accept and train PICU RNs.
- PICU RNs must be comfortable with training in CVPICU.
Additional Details
- Valid Driver's License or Passport accepted. Must be clear copy.
- AHA ONLY certifications. RQI is acceptable.
- Check cost center to verify required certifications or reach out to system leads for confirmation.
- HIPAA Acknowledgement required.
- Online Verification of License must include expiration date and any disciplinary actions (within 30 days before start date), verification through primary source.
