Partners In-Kind (PIK) is a growing non-profit mental health clinic with a mission to improve the accessibility of mental health services for underserved children. Since 2023, PIK has been providing children and adolescents with thorough, comprehensive psychological evaluation services along with bespoke recommendations for aftercare treatment and interventions.
PIK’s Intake Coordinator is responsible for being the first point of contact for clients seeking PIK services. Candidates for this position should be empathetic and courteous professionals with an interest in working with children and families from some of the region’s most underserved communities.
Duties include :
Managing incoming referrals and conducting intake interviews with referral sources and prospective clients.
Working with other members of staff to manage waitlists and set intake priorities.
Collecting relevant paperwork from prospective clients.
Scheduling clients for their initial psychological evaluation appointments.
Checking clients in for their appointments and gathering necessary paperwork.
Liaising with other agencies to track waitlists and service availability.
Helping clients to overcome practical barriers to service provision.
Tracking and ordering psychometric testing inventory and other office supplies.
Closing charts and assisting with monthly billing.
Increasing PIK’s visibility through attendance of periodic outreach events.
This is a hybrid position that will require the successful candidate to be on site at the Family Resource Center in Union whenever clients are in the clinic. When no clients are scheduled, work may be completed remotely.
