Role : Engineering manager

Responsibilities :
Team Leadership and Management :
Lead a team of engineers and validation specialists
Manage and oversee the team's performance, including setting objectives, conducting performance reviews, and facilitating professional development.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
Develop and implement training plans to ensure the team has the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their job functions effectively.
Product Validation Strategy :
Review and contribute inputs on implementing comprehensive validation strategies for wearable hardware products to ensure they meet quality, functionality, and reliability standards.
Collaborate with cross functional development teams to device validation from proto phase.
Oversee the creation and maintenance of validation plans, protocols, and reports.
Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with product development and validation.
Test Automation and Infrastructure :
Develop and maintain automated testing infrastructure and tools to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with the software team to develop automated testing scripts and frameworks.
Testing and Troubleshooting :
Supervise the design and execution of testing to identify potential issues in product designs
Drive the team to complete the troubleshooting and resolution of hardware issues uncovered during the validation phase
Ensure that all product issues are documented and addressed prior to product launch.
Continuous Improvement :
Continuously evaluate and improve validation techniques to enhance product quality and efficiency.
Implement best practices and state-of-the-art validation tools and technologies.
Cross-functional Collaboration :
Work closely with other engineering teams, product managers, and quality assurance to align validation activities with overall product timelines and objectives.
Communicate validation results and insights to stakeholders and provide recommendations based on findings.
Project Management :
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet project deadlines
Develop and track resource allocation plans
Communication and Collaboration :
Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders, including project status, technical issues, and test results.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, and other cross functional infra support to maintain proper operational management
