Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Store Assistant Manager to help lead our retail team and drive the success of our Boulder CO, store.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for retail, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
As an ASM, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring that the store meets its sales goals while maintaining a positive shopping environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Manage inventory levels through effective inventory management practices to ensure product availability.
- Assist the store manager in analyzing retail math data to make informed decisions about product placement, pricing strategies, and promotions.
- Assist the store manager to develop marketing strategies to attract customers and increase store visibility in the local market.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and professional growth among employees.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail management or a similar role with strong leadership capabilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management techniques and retail math concepts.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail in managing paperwork and reports.
- Ability to train and develop staff effectively while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- A passion for retail sales with an understanding of market trends that can impact business performance.
