About The Position
Job Title : Vascular Technologist Job Specialty : Regular Vascular Job Duration : 14 weeks Shift : Day, 7 : 30 AM - 4 : 30 PM, 5x8 Hr Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : 1+ years of experience License : ARDMS (RVT) or CCI RVS Certifications : BLS (American Heart Association) Must-Have : - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment demonstrating prioritization, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Associate's degree in Ultrasound / Sonography or a certificate of completion of an Ultrasound / Sonography program. Job Description : Perform a variety of vascular ultrasound exams according to physician orders and standing protocols.
- Demonstrate acceptable imaging quality standards by critiquing positioning, technical factors, and alignment.- Review patient data for accuracy, quality, and completeness.
- Document accurately and completely.- Perform routine and complex vascular ultrasound imaging procedures following departmental guidelines.
- Rotate to off-site mobile locations to serve patients with local testing availability.- Take on-call duty during rotating holidays, nights, and weekends.
- Ensure proper cleaning of equipment and rooms between patients.- Document appropriately to accurately communicate with physicians regarding patient history and exam findings.
