Position Overview :
- The location is in Chico, CA
- The working schedule for this role is Day shift, 10 hours, start time 0700-0800; possible float to Med Surg
- The duration is as a contactor for 13 weeks
- The anticipated start for this role is two weeks after an accepted offer
- Holiday requirements are as needed
- Guaranteed hours : 40

- The pay : $89.75 Hourly ($2,760.00 Taxable, $830.00 Stipend) $3,590.00 Weekly $14,360.00 Monthly Gross

Key Responsibilities :
- Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports
- Administering medications to patients and monitoring them for side effects and reactions
- Recording patient vital signs and medical information
- Monitoring, reporting, and recording symptoms or changes in patient conditions
- Administering non-intravenous medications
- Assessing, implementing, planning, or evaluating patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members
Qualifications :
- Current and unencumbered RN state licensure
- 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in the appropriate unit for this role
- Recent Infusion clinic experience
- Chemotherapy certification required with recent chemotherapy administration experience
- Four years of acute nursing experience in an Oncology setting required
- BLS / BCLS, ACLS certification
- Bachelor degree in nursing preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, physicians and hospital staff
- Basic computer skills
- Professional, friendly attitude
