AMD together we advance THE ROLE : As an MTS Product Development Engineer in the Product Engineering Architecture team, you will collaborate with various Product Development Groups, Silicon Design, DFT, DV teams, and interface with key memory technology companies.

This individual serves as a critical technical point of contact to ensure best-practices and new test concepts are architected, developed, and driven throughout the organization.

This position focuses on developing test solutions for various memory types (i.e. HBM & DRAM). You will be part of a larger team that defines test solutions from concept, development, to production deployment.

THE PERSON : This is a technical leadership position that requires experience in semiconductor product or test engineering and a proven ability to tackle complex test and manufacturing challenges for various memory technologies.

This role requires excellent communication and coordination across various teams and capable of defining long-term test solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Collaborate with architecture, design, product, test, and validation teams for test content coverage, test pattern development, validation, and debug.

Architect & develop test software solutions for a wide variety of AMD products to form a complete end-to-end test solution.

Responsible for understanding test challenges and executing large technical projects and processes in a timely manner. Influence technical decisions that have impact on AMD's final product.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS : Experience working in semiconductor product or test engineering in the field of HBM and DRAM Familiar with general DFT and functional test for HBM and DRAM Proficient with various programming languages (C++, Python, Ruby, Perl, Java) and abstract software concepts Proficient with ATE Test Environments (Advantest, Teradyne) Experience with Linux or Unix Operating Systems.

Experience with Microsoft standard apps (i.e. Office) & Windows. Good communication skills and ability to work with geographically distributed engineering teams.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or comparable disciplines LOCATION : Austin, TX #LI-TW2 #LI-HYBRID At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package.

Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position.
