Quinnipiac University seeks a talented and driven Assistant Director of Admissions to join our team in recruiting outstanding students from across New England and the Tri-State area.

As part of a dynamic and successful admissions team, you'll play a vital role in shaping Quinnipiac's future. About Quinnipiac : Quinnipiac University is a private, coeducational institution located 90 minutes north of New York City and two hours from Boston.

The university currently has an enrollment of 9,000 students in more than 130 degree programs through its Schools of Business, Communications, Education, Computing, and Engineering, Health Sciences, Law, Medicine, Nursing, and the College of Arts and Sciences.

Our 21 Division I teams have achieved remarkable success, boasting multiple conference titles. This includes a 2023 NCAA National Championship win in ice hockey, a three-time defending national champion women's rugby team, and a trip to the Sweet 16 for our women's basketball team.

  • Review and assess travel using data to make informed travel plans for fall and spring recruitment
  • Represent the university at events such as high school visits, college fair programs and conferences, as well as on-campus Open House events and other recruitment and yield activities
  • Attendance at on-campus events and travel is required
  • Review of first-year applications within recruitment territory
  • Liaison to academic schools as assigned
  • Candidate should have a strong working knowledge of Slate

Education Requirements :

Bachelor's degree is required

Qualifications :

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a university setting focused on multicultural or diversity initiatives
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with the ability to skillfully engage students from all backgrounds
  • Proficiency with Slate or similar admissions management software
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively during recruitment seasons
