What you'll be doing...

Experienced product professional dedicated to product strategy formulation, life-cycle management, success metrics definition and validation, and streamlining of the Secure Access For Everything (SAFE) product / service.

SAFE enhances Verizon connectivity services with comprehensive protection based on zero trust (ZTNA) principles, safeguarding customer networks, data, and users from cyber threats and data breaches.

SAFE is a critical component to the success of the Verizon NaaS solutions portfolio.

What we're looking for...

As a senior manager, you will be an integral part of the Verizon Business Group Product and Marketing organization that owns the customer experience, product strategy, business model, P&L, product & feature development, reporting and insights, and prioritization of the product roadmap & marketing for SAFE.

You will work closely with customers, sales and product marketing to define customer requirements for the SAFE offering, with the Technical Product Solution organizations to deliver upon these requirements and with product and integrated marketing to launch these managed services as part of the broader Verizon Business product portfolio to the relevant Business Unit channels.

You will proactively track bookings, revenue, attach rates and margin performance and recommend any corrective actions to deliver on the product's business plan.

Apply your knowledge of the business market segment and security offerings, the competition, regulatory and most importantly insights from customers to build and iterate on a SAFE product strategy, in close alignment with your peers of the NaaS networking, CPE and Security product teams, so that SAFE remains an enabler and a differentiator to the broader portfolio.

Think out of the box, evaluate better combined wireline and wireless solutions which can differentiate Verizon's SAFE offering globally.

Strong understanding of the market opportunity. Responsibility for the product P&L, identifying and managing commercial risks and ensuring strategic product decisions align with the business decisions.

Conduct SAFE market research customer needs, pain points and perform competitor gap analysis, identifying new offerings to drive growth and converting / refining them into product ideas.

Always think customer and digital first when reviewing new capabilities to accelerate and or address gaps in SAFE.

Interact with senior level executives within Verizon and with customers to tie together the Verizon strategy goals with delivering on customer objectives.

Identifying ongoing opportunities for operational efficiencies to ensure customer satisfaction, continued revenue growth and increased market share.

Identify and track KPIs and use them as a cornerstone for communicating to stakeholders, and drive team's focus and priorities

Collaborate on development of product collateral, FAQs, white papers, and presentations that can be leveraged across Verizon, external partners, and customers.

Engage with the Marketing & Sales organization on SAFE positioning, messaging, creating a product distribution and commercialization plan, creating and setting product targets and enablement needs and creating solutions that meet those needs.

Partner with Pricing and Finance teams to develop competitive pricing and promotions, and create comprehensive SAFE Business Cases in support of SAFE program.

What we're looking for ...

You'll need to have...

Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Six or more years of Product Management experience in building B2B advanced networking, SaaS or telecommunications products

Experience understanding consumer insights, market trend analysis, usability testing, A / B testing, rapid prototyping and analytics.

Experience in operating within a multi-channel / multi-region brand.

Deep data and analytic orientation for evidence-based decision making.

Even better if you have one or more of the following ...

Deep knowledge of industry leading wireline, wireless and security solutions and automation.

Understanding of Verizon domestic and global product offerings across NaaS, as well as Secure Web Gateway (SWG), Content Filtering, User Authorization & Authentication, Advanced Threat Protection, Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), SAFESearch technologies and features

Ability to conceptualize new, innovative applications / services and justify design, build, and / or buy decisions using solid ROI analysis.

Strong product intuition and user empathy.

Experience in leading cross-functional teams and motivating / inspiring them to go the extra mile, even in uncertain circumstances.

Experience working in a dynamic environment where diverse perspectives are respected and considered for creative solutions to difficult problems.

Entrepreneurial self-starter who is self-motivated, but also a team player with a professional presence.

Excellent communications and prioritization skills, and strong business acumen.

Strong cross functional skills, can motivate people not on their direct team.

Expertise in product portfolio management, and understanding product P&L.

Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

Communicate value of the offering to customers, stakeholders & leaders.

Identify future potential and opportunity space for your product and get your teams, customers and business network excited about it.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.

C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $119,000.00 and $241,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more.

For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
