Job Description :

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate School Nurse (RN) to join our team in Barrington, Illinois. In this role, you will provide vital health services to students, ensuring their physical well-being in the school setting.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, a thorough knowledge of school health protocols, and the ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to promote a safe and healthy learning environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide direct nursing care to students, including first aid, illness management, and medication administration.
• Conduct health assessments and screenings, and maintain accurate health records for students.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop health plans for students with chronic conditions.
• Monitor and manage municable diseases, adhering to school and state health guidelines.
• Educate students, staff, and families on health-related topics, promoting wellness and preventive care.
• Assist in the development and implementation of Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) for students with special medical needs.
• Provide emergency care and crisis management when necessary.

Qualifications :

• Must hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
• Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
