Job Details

• The Registered Nurse works in a collaborative and cooperative relationship with other members of the health care team, plans and implements patient and family education and is responsible for assessing the needs and initiating appropriate intervention for patients.
• Minimum Qualifications : Current Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse)
• Essential Job Functions : Collects Comprehensive data pertinent to the patients health or the situation (Assessment), Analyzes the assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues (Diagnosis), Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient or the situation

• Competence in and a willingness and ability to practice modified primary nursing.

Schedule Information

Ability to work varied shifts

Unit Specific Information

• Stroke Competency : Complies with hospital policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines related to care for patients with hyperacute and acute stroke
• Participates in two hours of initial cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education within one year of hire
• Participates in one hour annually of cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education

Additional Details

• Candidates must live at least 90 miles from facility to be considered for assignment.
• Facility reserves the right to cancel three (3) shifts per 13-week contract in the event of low census or other unforeseen circumstances.
