Job Description
The Counselor - Medical Center is a direct patient care position addressing all aspects of Substance Dependence Treatment.
The majority of work tasks are complex, independent judgment and skills are required. Supervision is required for some decisions in the day-to-day decision making related to patient care.
The Counselor - Medical Center is responsible for facilitation of the patient's care in all levels of care. The position is responsible for implementation of the treatment plan.
The position requires special knowledge, skills, and competencies relating to chemical dependency education, treatment, and rehabilitation.
Minimum Education Required
Bachelor's Level Degree
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field and CDCA and 3 yrs (fte adjusted) experience in relevant field or Master's Degree in relevant field and CDCA and 1 yr (fte adjusted) experience in relevant field.
