Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master's Degree Nursing from an accredited college or university PREFERRED
- Minimum of (3) years critical care and medical / surgical nursing care experience.
- Current New York State Licensed Registered Professional Nurse
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Computer application skills ALLSCRIPTS, Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Nursing and leadership skills.
Job Description
The Assistant Patient Care Coordinator in Cardiac Telemetry Unit 8B is responsible for the operational management of the assigned Nursing Unit in collaboration with nursing and physician leadership, participates in the strategic planning for the department.
Has accountability for nursing services on a shift basis.
