As our market sectors and services grow, we continuously add new opportunities. Will you join us?ResponsibilitiesThe Project Director is responsible for effective delivery projects including design / technical excellence, profitability and positive client relations.
Project types include small to medium complexity buildings ranging up to $30M in construction value. Responsible for managing one or more projects concurrently with minimum combined fees of $500k.
This individual will : Serve as the primary client contact on day to day issuesParticipate in the marketing strategy sessions regarding project fee proposals, interviews, fee proposals and miscellaneous business development effortsBe accountable for project goals being met including profitability, design, technical quality, schedule and client satisfactionImplement firm Project Delivery processes including Quality Management PlanStamp and seal construction documents in accordance with firm policyPrepare, monitor and update budgets, workplans and schedulesPrepare and implement corrective action plans to ensure project goals are metWork with the leadership team on additional services, contracts, and client relationshipPrepare and maintain Owner / Architect and Architect / Consultant contractsManage consultants including processing of consultant invoicesWork with Managing Director / Operations Director to estimate staffing needs and assign work to team membersResponsible for supplying timely revenue forecast to Managing PrincipalResponsible for monthly Earnings / Billings executionResponsible for Aged Account CollectionsDevelop and update Project Initiation Forms in conjunction with project teamShare responsibility to coordinate risk management issues (potential claims) with Director of OperationsMentor staffBe responsible for ensuring Project Data (cost, schedule, change orders, graphics) are forwarded to marketing database in timely manner at each project phaseUse technology and methodologies to create innovative approaches to building designConsistently strive to improve technical quality of work product by keeping abreast of new technologies, changes in building codes, and advances in the industryWork collaboratively in a cross discipline environment to produce integrated project documents, and insure integrated design approaches and solutionsQualificationsProfessional degree in Architecture, Engineering or related fieldProfessional license required7 - 18 years of architectural / engineering experience, including 1-5 years of experience in supervision and project management of medium-size projects and a variety of project typesAbility to apply diverse knowledge of design and disciplineAbility to negotiate contractsAbility to understand financial measurements of projectsStrong communication skillsAbility to successfully manage client relationshipsAbility to lead others and foster teamworkAbility to use good judgment and make timely decisionsProactive management styleAbility to multi-taskAbility to motivate project teams toward goal-oriented resultsBase Compensation : $125,000 - $175,000(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skills and / or location)#LI-JK1Equal Opportunity Employer - Male, Female, Disabled, VeteransMinimum Salary : 31200.
