Dispatch Lead

Essential Job Functions

• Ensure execution of daily operations within the department
• Review & audit drivers logs and inspections
• Work closely with Safety & Compliance
• Enforce policy and procedure compliance
• Coordinate with other departments within the company
• Respond to & solve problems
• Train employees on job specific duties
• Make suggestions and show initiative for process improvements
• Effectively communicate with drivers, clients, vendors and employees
• Assist Operations Manager and Dispatch Supervisor with planning and budget process
• Other duties as assigned
• Understand, maintain and enforce DOT compliance for drivers and equipment
• Perform billing duties for Crane Freight
