Dispatch Lead
Essential Job Functions
- Ensure execution of daily operations within the department
- Review & audit drivers logs and inspections
- Work closely with Safety & Compliance
- Enforce policy and procedure compliance
- Coordinate with other departments within the company
- Respond to & solve problems
- Train employees on job specific duties
- Make suggestions and show initiative for process improvements
- Effectively communicate with drivers, clients, vendors and employees
- Assist Operations Manager and Dispatch Supervisor with planning and budget process
- Other duties as assigned
- Understand, maintain and enforce DOT compliance for drivers and equipment
- Perform billing duties for Crane Freight
