Job Description
DOT - Project Manager III
A DOT Project Manager III is expected to design, plan and coordinate work teams of 15
to 20 people in the business area and counties.
Max Bill Rate : $90 / Hour
Years of experience : Relies on experience of 10 years or more for judgment to plan and
accomplish goals
A Professional certification is highly desirable but not required.
Expected duties and job function :
Understand business and technical objectives of a project
Work closely with the project sponsor, Communicates to stakeholders and
project sponsor
Create a yearly work plan, defines project scope
Establish project organization and methodologies
Define roles and responsibilities of the team
Track budgets and schedule progress via appropriate metrics
Documents risks and develops risk mitigation plans
Additional expectations :
Creates and implements a communication plan
Builds an effective team, assigns tasks to team members, and evaluates
outcomes
Negotiates resources
Identifies, tracks, and ensures resolution of issues and removal of barriers
Provides technical support to project team members
Handles complex application features and technical designs
Designs and implements the components required for complex application
features

Requirements
