Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop customized treatment plans based on individual needs and goals.
- Implement evidence-based therapy techniques and interventions.
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to clients of all ages.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including educators, physicians, and other therapists.
- Monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Educate and involve families in therapy strategies and home exercises.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and reports.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California.
- Experience working with diverse populations and age groups.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
