We are looking for an Engineering Project Manager to support the MKS Equipment & Solutions Business (Formerly Electro Scientific Industries, ESI) located in Beaverton, Oregon.

This role plans and implements assigned projects to meet business goals, by ensuring adherence to the guidelines and objectives of MKS product development business processes.

Ability to exercise good judgment and decision-making, while weighing the interests of multiple stakeholders in a global business is expected.

This is a hybrid position which allows for a normal weekly schedule consisting of Tuesday's through Thursday's on-site in our Beaverton, OR location and Monday's & Friday's working remotely.

This Engineering Project Manager position will drive assigned projects in a leadership capacity, requiring indirect management and influence of project team members.

Multiple parallel project support is a normal expectation of the role.

Support bringing product solutions to market including transitioning technology through each phase of MKS development processes.

Typical projects traverse opportunity, concept & feasibility, alpha, beta, and full production release

Lead and enable cross-functional teams during project execution (Marketing, Engineering, Operations, Service and more).

Success is measured at macro level by commercial acceptance and revenue generated by new products.

  • Use enterprise software tools to ensure project performance to plan (Schedule, Scope & Cost)
  • Report to executive management on projects at regular intervals to inform management on status and issues
  • Support program management leadership maintenance of standards used by the program management team using PMI guidelines, quality standards, and business requirements to implement projects

What you bring to the team, along with your creativity is :

  • Prior experience bringing profitable capital equipment technology solutions to market.
  • Organized and collaborative approach to leadership and problem solving
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Advanced understanding of finance, operations, project processes and tools.
  • 3+ years of project management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred
  • PMP certification preferred
