ABOUT THIS X-RAY INSTALLER JOB
While working as an X-ray Installer with this healthcare company, each day begins with examining and interpreting schematics, CAD drawings, and site plans to strategize the installation of sophisticated medical equipment like X-ray machines, CT scanners, and MRI systems.
Close collaboration with colleagues and clients is crucial. This installation role utilizes excellent interpersonal and communication skills to ensure smooth project implementation.
The responsibilities encompass precise equipment installation and configuration while adhering strictly to safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Since the X-Ray Installer is conducting onsite installations for client, frequent travel is required, often following a 3-week installation / travel and 1-week work from home schedule, though actual schedules may vary per client.
Requirements :
High school diploma or GED
6 months - 3 years of mechanical installation experience, specifically with X-ray systems (Philips, Siemens, or GE)
Willingness to travel 75% of the time for onsite installations and assistance (including overnight stays)
Ability to individually lift 50 lbs.
Valid US Driver’s license
Clean driving record
Ability to complete drug screening and background check
The following qualifications are high preferred :
Ability to read and interpret schematics, CAD drawings, and / or various other site drawings
Advanced tool knowledge (impact driver, material lift, hammer drill, pulley systems, etc.)
Strong cable running and management skills
Flexible schedule and potential to be available 24 / 7 to complete required on-call status rotation
Capability to travel to the customer site and / or training site at the last minute
