About Mountain Vista Medical Center
Mountain Vista Medical Center is a -bed, state-of-the-art hospital located in east Mesa, Arizona, offering comprehensive health care services, including emergency care, heart care, advanced surgical procedures, orthopedics, breast care, maternity care, and women’s services.
Position Summary :
Provides direct and indirect use of critical thinking skills and problem solving abilities in coordinating patient transfers for all Arizona IASIS facilities.
The transfer center RN will place external patient referrals for direct admissions to various levels of care within respective IASIS facility under the direction of physician acceptance.
Able to responsibly communicate with physicians, directors, charge nurses and co-workers effectively for efficient patient throughput within the transfer center.
To participate in quality and process improvement in the department during all phases from planning, implementing, and sustaining efforts.
Duties assigned per Director of Nursing accordingly for continued maintenance and growth of transfer center.
Requirements :
- High School Diploma / GED
- Licensed RN in the State of Arizona
- ACLS
- 1-3 years experience
Preferred :
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3-5 years of experience
