Pay Information

$2,144 per week

About The Position

Job Title : PACU RN - Inpatient

Profession : Registered Nurse

Specialty : PACU

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Minimum 2 years in Level 1 trauma and telemetry

License : Accepts pending license

Certifications : BCLS, ACLS, PALS

Must-Have : Experience with level 1 trauma and telemetry, and pediatric experience

Description :

This position will be in a brand-new critical care tower.

It is a premier facility with new rooms and state-of-the-art technology.

The tower increases the overall capacity for patients.

Health professionals will have the opportunity to build careers in this advanced facility.

Applicants must have level 1 trauma and telemetry experience.

The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 2.

The role involves pre / post cath lab procedures and pre / post interventional radiology procedures.

COVID vaccination is required; religious and medical exemptions are accepted.

One weekend shift is required per month.

Clinicians will be required to take on-call shifts of 1-2 overnight shifts per month.

The personnel must be willing to float to the holding area within the department.

Nurses will be expected to manage ventilated patients and recognize / handle dysrhythmias.

Pediatric experience is mandatory for this role.

Candidates should be accustomed to handling increased nurse-to-patient ratios.

The daily census consists of a high volume of cases across various age groups.

The team will collaborate with interdisciplinary support staff including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy among others.

This is a critical role that demands a skilled and adaptable nursing professional.
