Beds : Dependent on unit, 270 for hospital FLOAT POOL POSITIONRequired experience : 1.5 years general nursing experience (system requirement)BSN requiredMUST BE PCU LEVEL RN, willing to float to MedSurg / TeleWill you accept a first-time traveler?
Only if previous float pool experience and 2+ years experience, otherwise travel experience requiredTravelers must live >
100 miles away from facilitythis is a float pool position floating throughout various units within Rapid City location within or below scope of practice (to include MedSurg)If traveler has experience outside of this Intermediate Care please include this is your offer details, for example : ICU RN qualified to float to EDPCU RN qualified to float to ICURequired Certifications : RN : BLS, ACLS, NIHSSRequired Education : BSN requiredSkills required : PCU level RN willing to float to Med / Tele this is a float pool position throughout scope of practiceMust have experience with titration of all drips below please ask manager approval prior to offer if traveler is not completely comfortableCommon titratable drips : Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Levo, Dopamine, InsulinCardiac rhythm interpretation, IV starts, Blood product administration, CIWA, drain / tube management, indwelling and straight catheter insertion / management, continuous bladder irrigation, chest tube maintenanceExperience with Cardiac procedural recovery (CABG / TAVR / post Cardiac Cath), MI pharmacology, Heparin gtts-276639
