This role is part-time. We are looking for several caregivers for various shifts with some weekends and holidays required.

Sitter's responsibilities include monitoring the participants' daily activities, providing emotional support and companionship, as well responding to the patients' inquiries, concerns, and requests.

Essential Job Functions : Supervise patients in your care without distractionAlerting nurses when patients need help or interventionProviding emotional support and companionship to patientsRefraining from performing medical procedures or any unauthorized actionsKeeping patient information confidentialDevelop and facilitate engaging, functionally appropriate, interesting, stimulating and safe programActivities in the indoor area.

Ensure that activities are balanced to meet the needs of the memberEffectively communicate and build trust with the member verbally or using verbal or visual cuing techniques to provide care and interact to meet the social and emotional needs of the individualReport notable program participant changesAdhering to the facility’s policies and standards Specific Skills / Attributes : Care and compassion for othersCustomer focusedGood communicatorTeam playerAbility to learn new systems and work processesExceptional listening and communication skillsStrong observation abilityAbility to handle emotionally distressing situations.

Professional appearance and excellent hygieneAbility to act calmly and swiftly under pressureFluent in Hebrew, Russian, Spanish and / or Cantonese language (Preferred).
