Overview :

Cairn Communities has a new opportunity for a Maintenance Person in Dickinson. This role will oversee the grounds and maintenance duties of a mobile home community(s).

We are growing, and we want you to grow with us! A work truck will be provided to commute to other properties as needed.

Must be at least 21 years old to drive a work truck.

Position Summary : Responsible for maintaining the grounds, the exterior and interior of buildings, and responding to property maintenance service calls to ensure that the property is in an attractive and safe condition by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Follows daily work instructions according to the work schedule and applies sound judgment to operate equipment safely as well as prevent problems.

Preserves grounds, and other related duties. Maintains structural integrity of buildings by performing exterior building maintenance such as painting, cleaning gutters and downspouts, and other related duties in addition to interior building maintenance that does not require licensure such as painting, basic carpentry, basic plumbing, basic electrical work, basic appliance repair, and other related duties.

Qualifications : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education / Experience : Less than one year related experience or training. Grounds and basic work orders, IE replace a toilet, repair a sink leak, paint, replace a water meter, etc.

If you have the aptitude for basic maintenance, training will be provided for more complex jobs.

Certificates and Licenses : Valid driver's license and must meet insurance underwriting requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities : Grounds maintenance, basic work orders, time management skills, problem-solving skills.
