We give everyone-from emerging artists to global brands-everything they need to design and deliver exceptional digital experiences! We're passionate about empowering people to create beautiful and powerful images, videos, and apps, and transform how companies interact with customers across every screen.

We're on a mission to hire the very best and are committed to creating exceptional employee experiences where everyone is respected and has access to equal opportunity.

We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours!

Adobe's commerce platform product team is building the next generation of commerce experiences for Adobe's direct and indirect business.

We are seeking a dynamic individual who brings analytical thinking and creative problem-solving skills, is comfortable working in a matrixed organization structure and unafraid to immerse themselves in technical challenges, demonstrating a hands-on approach to working across cross functional teams and finding innovative solutions.

This role requires a deep understanding of cloud-based, API / microservice architecture, excellent communication and prioritization skills, a strong focus on delivering value to the customer and influencing and driving execution of complicated technical product requirements through multi-matrixed organizations.

In this role, you will help Adobe build world class marketplace APIs with which partners can re-sell Adobe products to their customers.

Your responsibilities include working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and launch APIs that ensure alignment with customer needs, follow Adobe business processes and marketplace requirements.

Do you want to play a meaningful role in defining how customers purchase Adobe offerings via major cloud platforms & marketplaces via APIs frictionlessly?

This is the job for you!

Work you will do

  • Align with key partners on API based commerce workflows & requirements
  • Simplify the partner use cases by identifying generic capabilities vs one-off requests and applying appropriate prioritization
  • Build business cases outlining projected impact for each API capability to be prioritized on the roadmap
  • Build detailed product requirements, document workflows, collaborate to help automated API test cases and execute user acceptance testing
  • Collaborate with architects and engineering to develop APIs
  • Partner with QA to ensure high quality APIs
  • Follow a data driven and customer-centric approach to balance long term strategies versus short term tactical optimization opportunities
  • Evangelize and test new business ideas with partners, drive implementation to completion with key success metrics and business impacts

How to succeed

  • 3+ years of product management or engineering experience developing REST based APIs
  • Good understanding of developer personas & API based integrations
  • Strong customer empathy, product ownership, prioritization skills, bias for action and sense of urgency
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to drive impact and influence cross functional and external partners
  • Natural tendencies which include planning long term and delivering short term, data obsession, critical thinking, and systems thinking
  • Experience with B2B cloud-based software (commerce would be a bonus!) is desired
  • BS or MS or equivalent experience in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent program from an accredited University / College is required; MBA is a plus
