Assists physicians during cardiac, angiography and other related procedures. Monitors radiation safety during procedures.

Required qualifications :

Coursework / Training : Completion of Radiography Program

Upon hire : National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Within 1 year of hire National Registered Technologist - Cardiac-Interventional Radiography Or

Within 1 year of hire National Registered Technologist - Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography Or

Within 1 year of hire National Registered Technologist - Vascular-Interventional Radiography Or

Within 1 year of hire National Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - Cardiovascular Credentialing International

California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire

1 year Diagnostic radiology experience.

Preferred qualifications :

Coursework / Training : Advanced training as a Special Procedure Technologist.

Upon hire : Provider ACLS - American Heart Association

1 year Cath Lab or Special Procedure experience.
