Job Overview : Sunbelt is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Special Education Teacher for a high school setting near Burlington, MA.
This role is within the Pathways Program, which focuses on providing job and life skills instruction to a small group of young adults aged 18-22.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide instruction in job and life skills, focusing on practical applications and real-world experiences.
- Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting instruction and interventions as needed.
- Facilitate a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student growth and development.
Requirements :
- Must hold a valid MA Special Education certification.
- Experience working with young adults with special needs preferred.
