Christiana Care Hospital in Newark 5B Medical Unit is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN).
Unit
5B is a 40-bed Medical Unit with Telemetry, which provides scheduled and emergent care / procedures on a 24-hour basis. The area is designed to accommodate patients who need inpatient care for a variety of treatments, diagnosis / testing including but not limited to COPD exacerbation, pneumonia, ETOH withdrawal, opioid withdrawal, nausea / vomiting / abdominal pain, altered mental status, osteomyelitis, back pain, diabetes management, and cellulitis.
The patient population cared for includes adult and geriatric patients. The patients are received / transferred / admitted from home, the emergency department, and physician’s offices as well as from other units within the hospital setting.
40 bed unit with semi-private rooms & private rooms

- RN with experience in an inpatient acute care is preferred.
