Job Title : Clinic Nurse, RN

Position Summary :
As a Clinic Nurse, RN, you will play a crucial role in delivering direct care to our participants in the clinic. Your responsibilities will include supporting clinic overflow, day center triage, checking vital signs, performing point-of-care (POC) testing, managing and administering medications, and assisting with wound care.
Your role will be essential in ensuring that we meet the evolving needs of our participants in alignment with the RN scope of practice.
Essential Job Duties :
- Wound Care : Provide comprehensive wound care, including management of complex wounds, IV hydration, therapies, and other procedures as needed.
- Clinical Support : Assist Medical Assistants with procedures in the clinic, providing guidance and support as required.
- Patient Education : Educate and instruct participants and their family members on disease processes, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies as directed by the Primary Care Provider (PCP).
- Documentation : Accurately record patient care delivery, noting any variations and observations, and implement nursing measures for any identified or potential problems.
- Participant Care : Offer compassionate and high-quality care, adhering to the standards and practices set by WelbeHealth and within the RN's scope of practice.
Job Requirements :
- Education : Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Experience : Two years of nursing experience in a clinical setting, particularly with a frail or elderly population, is preferred.
- License : Unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Language Skills : Bilingual in Spanish is required .
- Transportation : Reliable means of transportation is necessary.
