• Number of Beds 15 beds
• Number of Staff 22 (RN / PCT)
• Type of staff :

o Day Shift 3-4RN, 2 PCT, 1 Clinical Coordinator

o Night Shift 3-4 RN 1 PCT

• Patient Ratios 4-5 / 1
• Type of equipment Cardiac Telemetry, Chest tubes, Cardiac drips(NTG, Cardizem, Amiodarone), Post Cath Patients, post-surgical patients to include open heart, lung patients, general surgery patients, post op orthopedic patients that require cardiac monitoring.
• EMR Meditech

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• PCU experience
• Knowledge of cardiac rhythms and surgical patients
• Chest tube management, epidurals

List typical procedures performed on unit(s) :

• Post cardiac cath, EP studies, device placements, groin management, chest tubes , post op surgical patients
• Critical drips, epidurals, PCA

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS :

BLS & ACLS

Floating Area(s) :

ICU taking PCU type patients, PCU, Med-surg (taking 5 patients)
