Overview
Civilian Registered Nurse full time opportunity at the military outpatient clinic TriCare in Suffolk, VA.
Very busy outpatient clinic treating military families of all ages, looking for a full time experience RN to work Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.
Facility Details :
- Patient ages range from newborn to geriatric

Position Details :
- 40 work week
- Flexible Schedule
- 7AM to 7 PM
- 8 or 12 hour shifts
- No on-call!

Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of RN duties in accordance with assignment under the task order, including : triage; patient assessment and monitoring;
- use of patient monitoring and treatment equipment; appropriate nursing care, procedures, and treatments; execution of physicians’ orders within the guidelines of standard nursing practice;
documentation of patient care and observations; and patient education and emotional support.
Qualifications
Must possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience working in an outpatient acute (ER or Urgent Care) or ambulatory care setting within the last two (2) years - (must be able to treat pediatric to adult patients).
Possess a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing, a Graduate Diploma in Nursing, or an Associate Degree in Nursing
Possess and maintain a current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in any US jurisdiction
- Possess Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
