Spacecraft represent the most pressing unmet need across the entire aerospace industry. As launch costs decrease, more and more companies and governments are launching increasingly large numbers of smaller satellites.

For the first time in history, this increase in demand is driving a massive need for spacecraft platforms, known as satellite buses.

Satellite buses carry customers’ payloads and are delivered to space on launch vehicles.

Apex's growing Talent Acquisition team is looking for a Technical Recruiter to help shape, build, and scale our organization.

You will join our high-performing recruiting team and manage a diverse set of roles which could include positions within artificial intelligence, software, robotics, or vehicle engineering.

You will work closely with hiring managers and be given ownership of the entire recruiting process including qualifying requirements, sourcing, recruiting, and closing world-class engineering talent.

This position requires an uncommon balance of teamwork, dedication, and interpersonal skills. You will be expected to act as an ambassador of the brand and have the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies to identify, attract, and hire high-quality candidates for engineering and other roles
• Own the full-cycle recruiting process with an emphasis on strong hiring manager partnership and effective candidate advocacy
• Source candidates, screen resumes, and evaluate candidates to determine fit
• Facilitate interview and hiring decision-making processes with interview panelists, hiring managers, and company leadership
• Manage offer process, partnering with hiring managers and leadership
• Continuously and independently seek new ways to improve both the candidate experience and recruiting process
• Manage application and interview data, ensuring all communications and information are accurately tracked within our systems
• Assist in developing onboarding programs and conducting new hire orientations
• Participate in and support other HR projects and initiatives as required

Requirements :

• U.S. Persons status is required as this position needs to access export-controlled data
• Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably within the aerospace or engineering industry
• Strong knowledge of aerospace industry trends, engineering roles, and technical skill sets
• Ability to evaluate technical aptitude and screen candidates for both technical and behavioral fit
• Consultative and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
• Proficiency sourcing with LinkedIn as well as alternative techniques
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Passion for aerospace and a desire to contribute to the advancement of space exploration
