Location : Remote but candidates MUST sit in either CA or NV.

Compensation : $90,000-105,000 / year + up to 65% bonus

Travel : 30-50% (mainly in CA and NV).

Description :

A client of Insight Global's is looking for an Engineering Business Manager to join their Market Development team within the Civil Infrastructure Division.

This individual must live in Northern California as they will spearhead this market in business development, marketing, sales, profitability, and overall product development for geotextiles and erosion control products.

Overall, this individual will be the "face" of engineers, regulatory agencies, distribution customers, the contracting community, and the transportation industry as a whole.

This individual will work remotely but will be traveling up to a max of 50% travel. A typical day could entail doing promotions for the company, driving business by meeting engineers, conducting lunch presentations, and creating business plans for key influencers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or Environmental Engineering
  • 2 - 8+ years of experience in engineering pertaining to design, specifications, bidding, and / or technical reports
  • Open to 30-50% domestic travel
