Job Title : QA Lead / Manager

Location : Alpharetta, Onsite from Day One

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced QA Lead / Manager to join our team in Alpharetta. This role requires a strong background in QA automation with a focus on API testing, and the ability to lead a team while managing client relationships.

Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage the QA team, overseeing all aspects of the QA process.
• Develop, implement, and maintain automation frameworks for API testing.
• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts with a focus on API testing.
• Utilize automation tools / frameworks such as Postman, SoapUI, REST Assured to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with development teams to resolve defects.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices in QA and testing.
• Foster a collaborative team environment, providing guidance and support to team members.
• Manage client relationships and handle account management tasks as needed.

Must Have :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role, with a focus on API testing.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience with automation tools / frameworks such as Postman, SoapUI, REST Assured, etc.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Proven experience as a QA manager or in a relevant role.
• Strong background in account management or client-facing roles.

Good To Have :

• Solid understanding of API technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, etc.) and web services.
• Knowledge of CI / CD pipelines and experience integrating automated tests into CI workflows.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
