About The Position
Weekly Pay Range - $1806 To $2006 Job Title : Clinical Laboratory Scientist Job Specialty : Generalist with experience in Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Chemistry, and Blood Bank Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 4x8-Hour (06 : 00 - 14 : 30);
Night 4x8-Hour (23 : 00 - 07 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum of 2 years required License : Valid State License required at the time of submission Certifications : All certifications must be AHA certified and in hand at the time of the submission Must-Have : Availability to work morning shifts until December, with some night shift requirements in December.
- Willingness to work one weekend every three weeks, with days varying depending on call-outs.- Ability to go in for lab work within 3-5 days of signing the contract.
- Epic charting experience preferred. Job Description : Perform a wide variety of laboratory tests in areas such as hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, chemistry, and blood bank.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory policies and procedures and maintain quality assurance standards.- Adapt to changing schedules and shifts as needed, especially in December when night shifts may be required.
- Collaborate effectively with a team of healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely test results.- Participate in the orientation process and complete 16 hours of non-billable training before beginning the assignment.
- Handle and analyze biological samples, ensuring all testing is completed promptly and accurately.- Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as necessary.
- Contribute to a safe working environment by adhering to laboratory safety procedures.- Communicate effectively with clinical staff regarding test results and laboratory findings.
