Sourcing Manager-Software Category Management The Sourcing Software Category Manager has responsibility to execute transactions between company business units and vendors for acquisition of software licensing and related supportand professional services.
This resource will manage all aspects of negotiating contract terms and pricing, as well as gather spend and data analysis, ensure process and policy compliance, evaluate market research, and facilitate ongoing support.
Responsibilities Include : Has a significant Technology and Software subject matter knowledge and regularly leverages industry experts, associations, peers and stakeholders to identify and benchmark best practices.
Has specific Software and Services experience including cloud computing concepts.Familiarity with complex licensing modelsExperience in creating and negotiating service level agreementsFamiliarity with software asset management best practices and toolsExperience planning and leading negotiations.
- Accountable to contribute to department costs savings goals, process efficiencies, and to drive timeliness in contract completion Qualifications· 4-6 years of procurement experience within IT and business services;
