Front End Developer

HarmonyTech is seeking a highly skilled Front-end Developer to join our IT team. As a Front-end Developer, you will be responsible for building the client-side of our web applications, translating company and customer needs into functional, engaging, and interactive applications.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of all applications.

Location : The work shall be performed in the National Capital Region Hybrid, and requires U.S. citizenship or a Green Card Responsibilities : Design, build, and maintain web applications and user interfaces using AngularJS and JavaScript.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and functionality. Translate business requirements into technical solutions while maintaining a seamless user experience.

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to best practices and design patterns. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Debug and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth functionality and performance. Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development.

Actively participate in daily stand-up meetings and Agile processes. Qualifications : 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting, training, military, or educational experience.

5+ years of experience in Responsive UI Web Development using Angular (no substitutions). 3+ years of experience with Angular version 10 or above.

3+ years of experience with the Angular Material Framework. 5+ years of experience with JSON and REST APIs. 3+ years of Agile development experience.

3+ years of experience with JIRA. 1-2 years of experience with ADA compliance. Strong experience in Frontend Web Development and Responsive Web Design (6+ years).

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
