Position : Point of Care Testing Coordinator

Department : Lab

Location : Varies, MI

Must be willing to travel to all Aspire locations.

Hours : Full Time. Days. No Holidays. Full Benefits.

Aspire Rural Health Systems is seeking a full-time Point of Care Testing Coordinator in our lab department. We are looking for those with a great attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals constantly striving to provide the highest quality of services for our patients.

REQUIREMENTS :

Certificate of Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant education and clinical training from approved program is preferred. OR Associate or bachelor’s degree preferable as MLT / MT / CLS with clinical rotation from approved program.

Clinical Laboratory experience required. New graduates welcome.

Able to express oneself through verbal and written communication.

Calm and patient demeanor when dealing with people.

RESPONSIBILITIES : The primary purpose of your job position is to coordinate point of care testing and specimen collection services in the Aspire hospital and physician office settings in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Pathologist or Director of Laboratory, to assure that a quality laboratory service is being provided at all times.
