About The Position
Job Title : Occupational Therapist Job Specialty : Therapy Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Monday through Friday, occasional weekends, 07 : 00-15 : 30 (Time of shift is variable) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital experience required License : Must have ID Occupational Therapy license Certifications : Must have BLS certification through the American Heart Association (RQI certifications not accepted) Must-Have : Experience in a hospital setting- Ability to float to inpatient units as needed- Attach licenses and certifications with application Job Description : Facilitate the development and rehabilitation of physically disabled individuals- Maximize the functional status of hospitalized patients- Evaluate, plan, implement, and modify age-appropriate treatment programs- Participate in discharge planning- Perform administrative duties and participate in Performance Improvement (PI) activities- Pursue professional growth opportunities- Perform additional duties as assigned- Primarily cover for Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU), with flexibility to float based on census
