Senior Manufacturing Engineer
We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to optimize production processes, lead continuous improvement efforts, and ensure manufacturing excellence for our medical device portfolio .
In this role, you’ll drive design for manufacturability (DFM), implement cost-saving measures, and maintain the highest quality standards in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead process optimization and automation initiatives to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Develop, validate, and maintain manufacturing procedures in compliance with ISO and FDA regulations.
- Drive cost-reduction initiatives through innovative solutions and process improvements.
- Oversee equipment qualification efforts ( IQ / OQ / PQ ) and manage new product transitions.
- Design fixtures and tooling to enhance production performance and reliability.
- Manage documentation, including work instructions and engineering change orders (ECOs) .
- Provide technical leadership to support production operations and resolve complex issues.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to ensure manufacturability and optimize product costs.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably within the medical device industry.
- Expertise in Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings , specifications, and process planning.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks and experience with technical documentation.
- Working knowledge of machine shop processes, including milling, turning, and grinding .
- Proven problem-solving abilities and strong collaboration skills across functions.
- Self-motivated with excellent analytical and organizational skills.
