About The Position
Job Title : Level 3 Registered Nurse - Endoscopy / Gastroenterology Job Specialty : Endoscopy / Gastroenterology Registered Nurse Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Monday to Friday;
8 : 00 AM - 8 : 00 PM, on-call required for overnights and weekends. Choose between 5 shifts of 8 hours each or 4 shifts of 10 hours each.
Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : 2 years of previous Endoscopy / Gastroenterology experience is highly desired.
Telemetry experience is required. License : Valid RN License Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association Must-Have : NY license and BLS Certification Job Description : Respond to patient inquiries and address concerns.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs.- Administer sedation to patients before procedures.- Oversee patients' recovery post-procedure.
- Administer necessary medications to patients.- Complete all required documentation, including patient notes and discharge documents.
- Prepare instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures.- Clean and sterilize equipment before use.- Assist doctors throughout procedures.
- Administer IV drips as needed. This position requires a compassionate and dedicated nurse who is skilled in Endoscopy and GI procedures and committed to providing exemplary patient care.
