Job Title : Pharmacy Technician

Location : 2601 Ocean Pkwy, Brooklyn, NY 11235

Duration : 3+ months contract (with a possibility for an extension. But, no guarantees)

Education : High School Diploma / GED.

Shift Details : 5 days x 8 hrs. = 40 hrs. / week – Morning or Mid Afternoon or Nights.

Job Description :

• Assist in the preparation and distribution of medications under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
• Maintain and manage drug inventory in accordance with institutional protocols.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations.
• Rotate through various shifts and satellite pharmacy locations as needed.
• Perform tasks accurately and efficiently within specified timeframes.
• Operate pharmacy equipment safely and correctly.
• Troubleshoot issues with automated dispensing systems when necessary.
• Handle the receipt, return, and delivery of medications, carts, and supplies to hospital units.
• Must hold a valid Registered Pharmacy Technician license issued by the NYSED.
