Senior Account Executive - Carbon Credits
Location : California - flexible working model
Fixed Salary : $110,000
OTE : $175,000 - $200,000
WeEngage is exclusively representing an international Climate Action business that due to continued growth is looking for a Senior Account Executive in California.
The business specializes in leveraging natural processes and ecosystems to create sustainable solutions for environmental challenges, such as carbon capture, biodiversity conservation, and ecosystem restoration.
The ideal candidate will help drive revenue growth by building a strong pipeline of sales leads and helping create the market strategy.
You will be responsible for establishing a strong relationship with new prospects as well as maintaining a strong relationship with existing accounts.
Responsibilities
- The role involves developing relationships and partnerships with potential clients, including cold calling and business development activities, targeting end customers for selling carbon credits
- Build a strong pipeline of prospective clients primarily in enterprise accounts
- Strategize innovative ways to reach new clients
- Collaborate with the wider sales team including; CRO, Head of Sales, Partnerships Director etc
- Travel occasionally attending conferences and trade shows etc
Qualifications
- 4+ years' of relevant experience within carbon credits, voluntary carbon markets or nature-based solutions
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets
- Great interpersonal skills
